Add or remove owner from charge point

Add Owner

If a user has a dedicated charging spot, you can assign this spot to a specific user by adding them as the owner of the charging point.

1. In the CURRENT portal, click on PRICE AND ACCESS. Then click on the plus sign to the right of the charging point where you want to add an owner.

2. Click on USE RULES AND STANDARD PRICE if you do not want to set a custom price for the charging point.

3. Enter the user’s email address and choose whether authentication should be on or off, and whether the owner of the charging point should pay a subscription for this.

• • If authentication is on, the owner of the charging point must use the app or an RFID tag to start charging.
  • The location owner decides whether the user should pay for the subscription or if it should be billed to the location owner.
  • You must also select that the user should be semi-registered so that they receive an email to complete the registration.

After you have added the user, you will see this:

Remove Owner

To remove the user from the charging point, click on the minus sign and choose whether the charging point should remain active or be deactivated, as shown in the image below.

If you know that no one will take over or use the charging point for a while, it might be a good idea to select "remove and deactivate" so that the subscription cost is not charged to the location.
